Absolutely. Tell you what I called Ben at around 7pm, he's been on it all this time, so hats off to him for getting it sorted. :+:

Is it just me, or is everyone else seeing light blue text now, with a much reduced pinkness also evident in the background ?

Everyone is seeing it. Its a result of loading another template to fix the problem. Ben will have a go at getting an older template (ie before the problem) and load that. If it works great. If not we are stuck with this colour scheme until Alex gets back.

Ta all - looks like it may have been a problem with the templates / style sheets for the site following the Black theme and this should now be fixed.

It may take a few days for the web browsers people use to pick up the updated templates ( as they're often cached ) so I expect a gradual improvement.

Can I ask anyone who is finding the site 'slow' to load, or if it has blue text (as from a couple of hours earlier this evening whilst I was debugging ) to clear their web-browser cache and login again to IMOC - you should then pick up the new 'fast' templates.

Cheers all

FWIW I know Virgin (and some other ISPs) use transparent web proxies /caches to speed up web broswing.

However, the proxies take a while to pickup the new templates - and in the meanwhile you could be still be getting from NTL proxy the older (slower) templates..

Nothing you can do other than wait and clear your local browser cache, and try a 'forced' reload which is <CTRL>r - but from my own experince the NTL caches don't respond properly to this and continue to serve the out of date content.

Not very helpfull- there's nothing we can do at IMOC, all you can do is wait and it should fix itself.
