Last minute call, Battlesbridge car show, nr Southend

Post by Mk1 Turbo Powered Steve »

Does anyone want to go, i have 2 tickets spare, a couple have let me down at the last minute
The tickets are £5 each which i have had to pay out for , as car shows are mainly charging nowdays
Went there this morning to set up our pitch and it does look like it's going to be a good show .
Great weather too!!

Let me know asap.

Cheers
Steve..

Really sorry about that Steve, i had hoped the car would have been ready for this show, but alas it has taken longer than expected & as the weather is so good at the moment ive only got 4 weeks to get the car ready for LeMans & cant justify a day at a car show instead of a day on the car :( if you dont sell the tickets Steve, i will fully reimburse your ticket money mate no question about it, really sorry again, Jinxy

Hi Steve

If you had let me know the event would have gone on the main mk1 event calendar and in the mag (and also in mr2 only)

hope the show went well

Hi Jo,
As far as i knew we had enough cars on the stand, one person didn't tell me they weren't coming, one person ended up in hospital the night before and i didn't find out from Jinxy until the day before.
The next event we have is the Enfield Pageant, on the 25th and 26th of May, so far i have 7, possibly 8 going and i have 10 tickets, so that could be advertised.

Cheers

Steve..

Even though there were only 3 cars the show was great much bigger than i expected and well organised, i'm sure we will be doing it again next year.

Steve, make a thread about it in the Events section (Here: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewforum.php?f=10 ) giving details and one of us will add it to the events sticky in the Mk1 section...

Steve - its just nice to publicise to members whats going on in each area for the club in the mag, events sticky etc (gets more members on board for your area)
