[Mk2] [Generic] Rev 5 spoiler

Post by James7 »

Hi

This is my first time posting so please bear with me. I've got a Rev 3 and want to put the rev 5 combat spoiler on instead. I don't want to spend funny money on a genuine Toyota one. I have been searching the Internet and have found a couple of companies who sell replica Rev 5 spoilers. They are:

1. Rogue Motorsport

http://www.roguemotorsport.com/forms/Pr ... spx?ID=349

2. EP Racing

http://www.epracing.co.uk/product.asp?L ... 2+MK2&mt=1

(Can be found under TR style)

I have done a search on this forum and found some people were not keen on the fibreglass spoilers.

Has anyone fitted one of the above replica spoilers and could you please give me your comments on finish, quality, etc.

Are there any other companies who do a replica Rev 5 spoiler??

I am also keen on the TRD spoiler and EP Racing do this as well. It seems to be much bigger than the Rev 5 one. Does anyone have one of these fitted??

All comments are appreciated.

Thanks :thumleft: :thumleft:

Is there anyone out there who has fitted a Rogue or EP Racing Rev 5 replica spoiler and could give me their comments??

I've got a Rogue one fitted to my race car... I can't fault it, it's an exact replica of the Toyota original and retains the adjustability on the rear blade.

BUT... RMG have stopped manufacturing them now as they're not economically viable to produce. I have asked if they would consider continuing at a higher price, but they will not be persuaded. Sorry!

Sorry, no. :(

I could probably have sold about a dozen over the last few months - they're quite popular in the MR2 Championship!
