Veilside is not any lower than the border bumper at all. There the same height in fact the veilside bumper goes up in the middle so gives some clearance.

As you can see in this picture how low your front is has got nowt to do with the front bumper.

Although height might not be that different, its the fact the VS protrudes a fair bit further than the border that gives less clearance over bumps, since the pivot point is effectively at the wheel centre... if that makes sense!

Agreed :thumleft:

They do stick out further so on a steep up bank (like a multi story car park ramp) the veilside would hit first even though its not actually lower.

in the 2nd pic, the black mr2 looks like its been lowered quite a bit more. look at the roofs....

Sorry for thread hi-jack. . . well sort off. . . . where is the best place to get a border front from? :-k I know chance will need to be worked a little but all i see is E-bay ones which i just dont feel confident buying!?? HEEELP!! :pray:

:clap: Border would look stupid as the skirts arent low enough.
Harrys idea about the TOMS front was good also splitters would look ok as the Autopista cover.
