Mk2 Rev1 T-bar Turbo GT For Sale

Post by Mauler »

As I'm getting my old 3.0S Capri back the MR2 has to go :(

Info:

Black Rev1 1991 T-bar
Roughly 85,000 miles on the clock (will add exact milage when I get home)
GT model - steering fogs, air-con, half leathers, retractable mirrors
HKS dump valve
HKS EVC VI (aye the new 6) boost controller (set at 0.9 bar)
FCD
Roto gunmetal + chrome lip Slipstreams 17s on 215 front & 235 rear Falkens with plenty of tread, professionally fitted & balanced
MOT & tax (will add exact info)
No rust!
Replaced bonnet (with another standard black one) as the old one had faded a bit
Crappy little spare and original Mr T toolbag + jack included
Original covers for the T-bar glass
Clifford Concept 650 alarm, immobiliser w/turbo timer
Lowered and stiffened springs but I don't know the details of these
Deluxe audio Toyota amp + sub kit
Black momo steering wheel
Clear front indicators
Custom stainless exhaust
Big wedge of paperwork :P

Bad parts (nothing too bad):

Bodywork is sound, but showing it's age a bit with a few little surface scratches here and there, nothing too noticable
Air-con hasn't been used in forver so may need regassing
Two alloys are slightly scuffed
T-bar drips a bit on the driver's side

Extra bits included:

K&N filter kit (will need a top hat adapter)
Spare CT20b turbo from my old GT4 (looks 100% OK but is untested so I can't guarantee it works)
Spanking new still wrapped genuine black 'Midship Runabout' front badge
Nifty 10in sub box to fit behind a seat - made by one of the guys from here :thumleft:
Original KPH speedo (boxed)

The previous owner had the car maintained by his local Toyota dealers with receipts to prove it so it's been kept at a decent standard. She passed her MOT with flying colours last year so I don't expect any problems at all this year. I've looked after her as well I as I could and has been run on nothing but Optimax/V-Power.

I'm looking for around £2200.

Here's some pics and I'll add more very soon - any requests?

Reply or PM me here for more info or offers.

Based in Essex.

Also has ABS & cruise control - pretty rare for a Rev1 I think?

Tax & MOT for a good few months yet.

84,199 miles on the clock.

Imported in Sept 1999.

Cambelt changed in late 2005.

Looks a clean car, i would say price is about right, although there are alot of dogs out there for that price range.

Aslong as it runs well with no mechanical faults its easy worth £2k

That's your choice Olly m8 lol :?

But seriously, like Hunty said, it's about right IMO. Most N/As go for around a grand less and most Rev3+ tubbys go for around a grand more.

£2k is about right and considering the wheels & HKS EVC are there too (along with possibly a Rev3+ rear tail panels & lights and a spare CT20b turbo) I'd say that £2200 is very good... \:D/
