[Mk2] [Turbo] cam cover and intake manifold

i want to take off the cam cover and i want to polish up the intake manifold....

how easy is it to remove these and how to????

already polished up the intake pipes

also what paint should be used on the cam cover??

also i am after some small small hoses to replace the small vac hoses in orange and the rubber joint between turbo and piping and ic - piping
where can i get these items

yeah it's all pretty straight forward. I like to move the loom completelt out the way, so I unplug the o2 sensor, ic fan, ac and cat temp, then the injectors, vsv and the alternatorand and an earth. Then lift it out the way. 2 brackets under the inlet manifold holding it to the block, oh and you've got TVIS to unplug. then just a load of 12mm. You'll see :thumleft:

and how do i rind ya if i am stuck?? pm me ya number
also how long should it take?

i am doing this to learn a bit more about engines etc all learning for me but i am electrical engineer so have sense in this area

the inlet manifold is a pain to get to all the underneath bolts....
mainly the support stays which are a pain.....

cam cover gasket, i would definatly go to toyota....my camskill one didnt do anything, leaked like a mofo, it was brand new....popped on a new toyota one and never had a drip since......

its more of a pain getting the IM gaskets to stay in place when your trying to get the thing back on, lol...
