i've owned this car for just under a year and bought from a friend who'd owned it for a few years prior to this before this it was owned by his girlfriend from 1999
when it was imported so it's spent most of its life in the same town.The car is a manual and has 181000 km on the clock
(113000 miles) it had a new engine about four years ago i think it was about 40000km ago. i have the reciepts for this (over a £1000 of work).The car was serviced in Nov 07 and i have plenty of history and most of the old mot's dating back to when it was imported i also have the original sale reciept.
The tax and mot are both until June 08.
I use the car daily to work so its never left sitting around!
The only problem i've had was i had to replace the alternator which was the same prolem i had on my previous mr2!!!
I also had a wheel bearing replaced for the mot in the summer.
The car is in good condition and all four tyres have plenty of tread the only bad bits are the aerial hace been replaced with a fixed one because the extending one was broken off in a car wash! Also the boot lock is missing because some scumbag tried to break into the boot when it was left at the train station, this means the boot has to be opened using the lever!
The targa top leaks a little when it rains
(they all do!!) but a bit of silicon or vaseline in the winter stops this.I also have the blinds for the roof and the bags.
