These are the pics in the dealers add from autotrader. Will post propper pics when i actually get the car
Its fairly standard, but has had £3000 engine rebuild by Rogue (confirmed with Patric(?)

Body work is not 100%, but only work 200yards from Craig at Millway so will get it sorted when funds allow.

LOL
Yeah the dash was not one the cars plus points! You dont get the true awful nature of it from the pics, its been flip pained, so it goes from orange, to green to purple #-o. 1st job when i get car is to take it off and re-spray it, going to go for silver. So if any of you guys have advice on how to remove these bits, please let me know

Thats how I've done mine, just sprayed silver.. the dash bits are pretty easy to remove.. theres a few screws here and there and then just 'snaps' out.. theres a screw either side or underneath the ashtray IIRC.. and some under the steering wheel bit.

Thanks for the comments guys, yeah there are a lot of nice cars there, have about 5 fresh import turbos.

Engine work as follows, in no real order:

Wossner Forged Pistons
Uprated Oil Pump/ Cooler
Metal Bearings
Rebore
Re-built head

It was done in Sept 06 so should still be good, I hope!!

Going to book it into Millway next week for them to check it out!

Might be easier to just get 2nd hand dash parts to replace the poo coloured ones. They all come off very easily.

In my opinion the original black looks the best. Trying to improve the MR2 interior is a bit like trying to polish a turd, IMO.

So infact you are saying the MR2 interior is poo?!

In most cases when taking the dash out if the car has been tinkered about with, there will be about 2 screws holding everything in where the previous owner lost them all/couldn't be ar$ed to replace them!

Lol took dash to bits on Wednesday, and yeah it was only held on with a few screws! I recon 50% less than holes for screws!! Also about half the ones in looked as tho they had been glued in, as 1 turn of screwdriver and they fell out!! Was trying to find electrical fault with headlights, failed
The orange dash is starting to grow on me TBH, so I am going to leave it for a bit.

Took the Wheels off today, and guess what i found?? Tein suspension allround :D :D

What kept breaking? Just about everything!
Owned for 2 years, was 4 years old when i got it, 40k miles FRSH, 172 Clio NO mods

Throttle cable 3times, once when i was doing 90ish up the steep hill on the A34!
O2 Sensor, replaced both twice
All the pipes on aircon
Wheel Bearings all round
Springs
HT System
I could go on TBH

Lets put it this way, I used to have a 'Grale Evo1 and Clio broke on a more regular basis!!

Shame as they are amazing cars to drive

Hehe I love the wheels I think they were made by a company called Koya, but not sure, any one know for sure?

But they were a bit screwed

All the lacquer had peeled on the polished rim, and there was some light oxidization on the ally :(

There was a big black mark, no idea what it was as it was not sticky, just black and really hard to remove!

Image

But spent all last weekend rubbing down the rims and re Spraying them

its wierd, all the painted centres are in virtually new condition, and there is no sign of any kerbing! The polished bits were yellow on the rears tho, never seen anything like it!
