any one going to santa pod in jan?

dont mean to tread on anyones toes if i am but is anyone going to the santa pod run wot you bring in january i belive there are two dates one on the 20th and one on the 27th any one going ? would be nice to meet some fellow mk1 owners

Didn't realise they are open in Jan - they don't usually run in winter due to the weather.

We have other club days there in the summer when it's warmer though - often in conjuction with the bigger Japshow shootouts.

I've been going in Jan for the last three years or so now. Always bloody cold but never been stopped from running because of the weather. In reality the most dangerous bit is the country lanes on the way to the entrance... they ice up real badly.

I'll probably be there again on one of the days in the Supra though. Mk1 isnt really a straight line tool :mrgreen:

I'm going along with possible Fozzyrev3 and Mattcambs. There are a few others coming too that aren't on this forum though.
Shooting for the 20th - if it is p1$$ing it down then the 27th. Will not be as much fun in the wet.

i could be up for that just got to see if all goes well with the mapping...
will be good to see what my car will do down the 1/4 mile since ive carried out all me new mods

Looks like weather is going to be wet and windy, so I'm thinking the 27th now as don't think it will be much fun in bad weather :(
