For sale is my MR2 it is very low milage for year averaging just over 5k per year.
The car has just had the water pump, thermostat and cambelt changed at 87,694 so has barely done 30 miles on the new items.
Reason the pump was changed was the gasket round it was leaking so thought whilst it was off it might aswell be changed so has new coolant aswell. Oil, Oil Filter, Plugs and Air filter were changed when we bought the car which was showing 84k.It has also had a full respray by the previous owner due to the paintwork fading so bodywork is in good order, and still has the original t-bar sleeves.
Only a few negative points to mention:
The front n/s wing has been replaced due to a small dent which cracked the paint so rust formed.
We fitted a wing off of another red mr2 but as you can see in the pics its the wrong shade so will need spraying.The seats have worn with the age of the car, as with most early japanese leather they have cracked.
I have tried to photo these points as best as possible.
Those are the major points but being 100% honest there are 2 more that may be worth a mention, the handbrake needs adjusting as it doesnt quite hold the car and the central locking works from the door switch and passenger door but not drivers lock. This might be a loose wire or fuse but don't have time to sort it out.The car is great fun to drive, especially in summer with the roof off.
The only reason i am selling is due to needing more space, so am after a bigger car. I have taken my radio out of the MR2 but have left the ISO connector in there so you can plug whatever you want in there, the original head unit is in the slot but is not connected as we don't know the keycode.Viewing is possible any evening or weekend, but is currently uninsured so only a small test drive is possible.
Car has been garaged for last 8 weeks but started it last night and it ran fine.
