Dunno whether or not you have solved this but what I can tell you is that the solenoid feed

(wire that plugs into brown connector) comes from the starter relay which is located in the rear boot behind the engine bulkhead carpet.

It is the green relay next to the engine ECU.

The factory fitted immobiliser inhibits this feed to the starter solenoid by making the

-ve side open circuit if the imobiliser is activated.

To unset the imobiliser use your key to lock and unlock the drivers door ie: turn key all the way towards the front of the car then all the way to the rear.

If this doesnt work you may have a fault in the ECU.

You can over come it by connecting the wire that goes from the relay to the theft detterent ECU straight to chassis.

.this will be one of the smaller wires on the green relay and i believe it is white with a black stripe.
