didn't notice a passenger. The burgandy clio only had one headlight, i'm assuming for a cold air feed.

The silver one was Tom, a 182. He snapped a couple of wheel bolts later in the day :(

Also as the instructor is so busy erm... instructing and the driver is trying to concentrate on what the instructor is say whilst trying to follow a line, they often ignor traffic building up behind them. Pretty much the same when getting caught behind a learner driver on public roads...

Nod nod. I had instruction and at some points I felt like I was 'in the way' Its hard to concentrate and put into practice what you are being told at the same time as keep your car in a straight line and let people past.
At least I managed the first and last :D

Unfortunately my video camera was in photo mode unknown to me so I got no video from the day :(

Well... Considering the above photos, you might be interested in this short clip of yourself then ;)

Tom,

Brilliant! Thanks for that, made my day.

I remember that lap well, if it had continued a bit it would have shown me finishing off that tyre

Can you use FTP? If you can, I'll sort you out with a box to drop everything into.

Yep, I use WS_FTP.
No that conversant with it, but it seems to work for what I use it for. Would be great if you could. Now that Ive checked file sizes etc... The total size, just for the off road stuff, is about 1GB though. I have another bunch of stuff (photos / short video of Rockingham) which is less than 1GB too
Then the actual bullet cam stuff , which Im not sure people would be interested in as its just my car, which is err.. a bloody huge lot of files. :D

It was my 3rd time on Rocky International Long, I was expecting worse mess with so many people, but I would say it was as usual (maybe except the red flags), not too busy, so I did enjoy it a lot again.

Driving standards - I have always experienced some nutters overtaking you without consent and not always on straights on ANY track days only because they were significantly faster, honestly havent experienced a difference in between BAT and other organisers in this respect (ok but I dont usually complain, rather try to watch mirrors etc)...

Next time I will probably do Rocky National with LOT, looks interesting ;)

Thanks for organising the weekend Anna, me and my friends had a great time.

Was sorry to hear about the knock you had Turbo-G :( was a bit unlucky on the first time out but i'm sure it will be sorted in no time. Don't let it put you off!

Being the first trackday I've done in the UK I was a little confused with the overtaking, I always waited for concent (other then that burgendy clio, which as previously mentioned was a really pain) but a few people never gave it and others just overtook when they felt like it.

On the whole though was good fun, and I'll definatly be doing some more next year (and not spending the whole day with stupid rear damper settings on)

I would have reported any dodgy moves, as the track peeps don't know if you don't tell'em.
I personally try to always wait for consent, or more often than not am the one pulling over for faster cars.
Its not worth the risk of an accident by breaking the rules, and anyone putting my car at risk will get a word from me if i bump into them later too. [-X
but i didn't get caught in any stupid driving so thats cool
