[Mk2] [Turbo] Strange Coolant Leak

I say strange cos it's only leaks when i turn off the engine.
I can drive to work (30 miles - mixture of m-way, A-roads and city centre) without a problem, but about 20 seconds after i turn off the coolant comes pi55ing out at quite a rate.
The leak is coming from the back of the thermostat housing - i reckon it's the gaskets where the pipes from hell go into the water pump housing.
Anyone got any ideas as to why it only leaks when i turn the engine off?

Probably because the coolant is no longer being pumped around so it expands more than when the engine was running.
