i just dont understand why they dont run right?

once the convesions done if i put rev 3 cams in

.

then surely the engine will be identical to a rev 3 engine.

or is there other diffrences between a rev 1 and rev 3?

so what are you saying is the answer.

.

dont do a rev3 conv.

go staright for a standalone with bigger injectors etc?

the engine are quite different, pistons, VE, inlet cam, inlet manifold, TB, all effect VE.

.

.

i would bet that if these things were changed

(minus the pistons, bit ott), it would run alot better.

but that wouldnt make the cost involved werth while

(you need a custom adapter plate to fit the manifold also).

.

.

.cause youd still have a stock ecu at the end of the day.

hense you do the conversion, run on the rev3 ecu see if the car can run, lol, then map on an ems.

.

.

.

.only way to fix the issues it seems.

(and saves the hassle of manifold/TB/cams)/
you realsie just putting a rev3 inlet cam in is gona cost

£300+ with all the reshinning etc etc

(unless you can do it yourself), you may as well spend this dosh on an ems and map.

(youd need more dosh for ems and map, but you see my point).
