Mine sounds good. It is pretty loud with the decat pipe. It does pop when the engine is warm.

Main point i have to make is that i have nothing else to compare it to!

I have a Mongoose which is pretty much identical apart from the tail pipes. Well drony at 3000rpm (70mph in 5th) which can be annoying, thats with a 3" dp also. Sounds good at idle and does make the odd pop and bang on lift off etc. doesn't help that im running a lil bit rich on overrun atm.

Good exhaust, although I am contemplating going for the berk tech exhaust when funds allow.

I thought this only had 2.5 inch piping so i didn't touch it in the end.

I also read on posts that it's quite noisy too (cabin wise) on motorways. Again, hence didn't buy one.

flex pipe is 3'' then splits to 2 x 2.5'' pipes.

mine sounds good to me and i dont find it bad at motorway speed either although i still have my cat so that may make a difference.

good exhaust IMO if you like the look of them as i know some arent keen.

i had one before, not very audible , back boxes didn't sit centre and never popped or banged...not much more noise than standard, it depends what your looking for but it wasn't for me

I got my blue flame 2 years ago.

when i fitted a xxxx downpipe i measured the internal diameter of the flexi section, and it was 2.5 inches.

the actual tail pipes themselves are closer to 4".

I find it very droney at 3,000 revs on the motorway. Unfortunately in 5th gear this is about 70mph, so I find I either have to knock down to 4th, or speed.

I know, it's a terrible dilema.

It does have a nice sound at full chat, but then I think a lof of that is the engine.

Mine pops quite a lot when hot, but this is due to the decat more than the blueflame, as it didn't happen before I decatted it.

Final point - the blueflame was the cheapest S/Steel exhaust around when I bought it. Not that I'm tight or anything...
