At the time it was a totally untouched example. From November 2006 I took it off the road for winter and started my mission of making it one of the sleekest looking MR2's around.Firstly we took the engine to bits and totally rebuilt it in the garage over the winter months.

Ignition Leads
-Fuel cut defender
Boost Gauge
Boost controller
Front brake discs
Front brake pads
Fujitsubo Exhaust System
Then onto the bodywork.

Revision 3 Spoiler
Full Steel Mist Grey respray
Clear front lenses
So as you can see, no expenses have been spared
(Over £5000 spent in 6months). All bodyparts are quality products with perfect fitment, and to ensure the car was in pristine condition I paid out for a full respray, so now the car absolutely gleams without a single scratch, swirl, dent or mark.Right then, bad points:
I dont have the spigot rings for the alloy wheels, so at high speeds the steering wheel wobbles.
But this can be sorted with getting a set of spigot rings. (£30?)The horn doesnt work because I lost the wire for the centre of the steering wheel.
But can be sorted by getting one from a breakers (£10?) or upgrading the steering wheel with a boss kit.Boot release in the cockpit doesnt work.
Needs the cable replacing. But it does open with the key.Washer Jets do not work as the pump has died, so this needs replacing.
So as you can see, the bad points aren't anything big whatsoever.
£100 and the car will be as good as new. The car does still clock up in Kilometres, not miles.
So the mileage dial appears as 170,000, so roughly 107,000miles. But the speedometer shows in miles as ive had a MPH dial put over the KMPH dial so you can safely tell what speed you are doing.
