My MR2 mk2 T-bar - One of the cleanest examples in the UK (pic fest!)

Post by Rowland »

Regrettably I'm forced to sell my 1994 Toyota MR2 T-bar Revision 3 G-Limited.
Anyone who knows me, knows of my 7 year passion with the MR2 and my current driveway resides 4 MR2's so one, possibly two have to go.
This one is exceptional and purposely modelled on a rev5 turbo.
Bought in May 2006 from imoc member 'Tur80' aka Tony Guttman

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/profile.ph ... file&u=952

The car throughout Tony's ownership has been maintained by the UK's Leading MR2 Specialist, Rogue Motorsport.
Since purchase I've self serviced the car including oil and filter changes every 9,000 miles. Rogue Motorsport have also been involved in some of the modifications and maintainance too.
My imoc 'garage' shows work done to the car in the 13 month ownership.

The car has service history and is taxed until Feb 2008, the MOT expires in August 2007. New rear tyres were fitted yesterday.
I'm after a quick sale so I'm asking £3,000
If the weekend passes without a deposit being put down, the car will be advertised on ebay £1 with no reserve.
The overall condition as you can see from the photographs is fantastic. The car is mechanically sound and drives beautifully, no crunching gearbox, misfiring or ANY other mechanical issues.
The ride is refined with no tramlining/wheel wobble at motorway speeds.
The miles I've clocked up are mainly motorway miles effortlessly cruising at 32mpg.
I can genuinely say I'll be sad to see the car go and I'm certain the first person to view the car WILL snap it up and bag one of the very best normally aspirated MR2's in the UK.

Enjoy the pics!

:D

Me? No, not as yet.
I'm thinking about donating it to a local charity, perhaps as a tombola prize or something at this rate though!

Hi,

Saw your other advert on Pistonheads. Tbh, if this was a moonroof / tintop I'd probably be handing you some money, but I have reservations about the T-bar... :-k Not yours personnally of course, just T-bar in general.

Anyhoo, the odd question for ya:

Suspension - Standard?
Original wheels / tyres available?
Does it have the usual G-limited stuff like climate control and folding leccy windows?
I don't think I've seen such a comprehensive advert in a long time, but I should ask, any significant marks on the bodywork?

Lastly, will you post to Aberdeen? :D

Many Thanks,
Ross
