1991 MR2 GT T-Bar TRD Widebody Replica

Post by salim »

TRD2000GT is Toyota's own widebody kit for the MR2, giving it supercar looks and with the engine mods giving supercar performance.

The amazing bit about this car as its recognised as a Kit car you can insure it for as little as £300 a year.

I have spend hours on end searching for the best and most unique products to make this car a one off and to give it the looks and performance it deserves. The car is tuned to a healthy 350bhp.

I have driven 2,000 in the 18 months I have driven and can't justify keeping it any longer and continue to spend the money I have in maintaining every aspect of the car from the engine to the body.

If your looking for a showcar that isn't Over the top and holds itself parked next to supercars, then look no further then this.

This car has not yet been featured anywhere, but I have received several offers from various magazines. All details will be forwarded to new owner.

The car is completely loaded... It must weight 2 tons... :P

Love the rims... and the body kit although wouldn't miss the vents on the front...

Still 10k is a lot of dosh...

I know it's alot of dosh but it partly reflects the money and time I have spent on this car and you need to see it in person just to appreciate it.

Would be an ideal show or company car

Contemplating if not sold by end of the month will start to strip some parts and reduce the price accordingly. :(

I think that is a good price considering the mods done to it mate.People just want something for nothing!

You see TRD kitted 2's on ebay every now and again asking six grand which apart from the kit are STD ussually with naff chav paint and silly wheels which don't suit the car,and they ussually don,t even know that it is a TRD kit!

Considering the money people want for real ones(even thou it is still a GRP kit stuck on).Its amzing what people will pay just for a badge you never see.

Hope you sell it for what you want mate, its worth it.

Thank's mate thats the first positive comment about the car.

Even at the price i paid for it when i bought i have spent an absolute fortuen on new rare items that i have bought and the level of interest generated by some of the parts for sale it shows that i have spent alot.

Just by looking at the car and the attention it gets i know its worth what am selling it for? Hopefully it goes to the right person who will apreciate it

Only negative point is power steering.
Car is worth the money. It cost me about 8k to get mine where it is without a TRD kit or 350bhp. And the wheels are stunning.

Good luck with the sale, lovely car. :thumleft:

has it sold now salim - i see the e-bay ad showed an end price of over 9k, so if you've got that - well done - but why is the seller down as no longer registered with e-bay ? (just curious)
