T-bar

Hi guys,
More questions from the newbie i'm afraid. Just wanted to know how secure the t-bar roof is? Any chance of some uneducated little f**k having away with a stereo or a car? Living in an area that seems a little scummy next year not too bad but don't wanna have to mess about getting stuff like that sorted. Cheers guys.

Well the people who did my car window tints said my mr2 was pretty secure not an easy car to get into and mines a TBAR, i would think if they wanted something theyd go through the side windows... that tbar glass is pretty heafty

the t-bar is pretty secure tbh. I've never heard of someone getting in that way. They'd go for the doors to break in i'd say.

t-bar glass is fairly strong as when i dropped 1 of mine it bounced lol (thank god)

The glass is everso strong mate.......if a t-bar ever rolled then it would need to be stonger than say ...your side windows. As for the fixings then again it's very secure too. They have to cause huge damage to get in through the roof and then it would be a bit of noise and take 'em ages.

cheers guys, put my mind at rest a little. That's that then, a t-bar shall be on the way when I can get the money together. Oh and the small matter of finding a lovely white t-bar low mileage minter!! ha that should be fun! I imagine i'm gonna have to take it real easy to start with, been used to a 1.1 fiesta at the start and now another toy yaris 1.3!! Any of you guys ever raced a clio sport 172 or a tt? My bro's got a clio but prob on hunt for tt buy the time i get my mr2 t-bar. Somehow don't think i'm gonna keep up, but when he was my age he had a corsa sri. oh dear!
