I live in N.I. too and found elephant pretty decent. GT Tbar (n/a) I'm 24, belfast based, my first car, just passed my test, no ncb: £1700 tpft.

Useful tip: Get a quote from elephant, and then get a quote from Admiral. Use the quote from elephant (make sure it's for the same cover) tell Admiral (nicely) to beat it. I did this last year to beat the ins. on my Audi from £800 to £500 Fully Comp. It's stupid because they're the same company, but it worked for me!

Remember also that Admiral and Elephant quote for 10 month policies. You need to add ~15% to compare it to a similar 12 month policy.

Yep.....10 months.....but at least I will have 1 years NCB again on 3rd June.....hurrah... instead of 3rd August.
As soon as I get 3 years I will shop around again.

Most insurance companies dont recognise it a 1 yrs no claims.

Only if you stay with elephant or admiral will it count. Ask other companies if in doubt.

They have to send you/the new insurance company proof of your NCB.
So they should be ok. Im happy with Admiral anyways so staying put. :D
