Rev2 N/A to Turbo Conversion, high spec, needs TLC *LOWER PRICE*

Post by aj_mackay1 »

hi guys,

running into some serious financial trouble at the moment so unfortunately i'm selling my UK 1993 revision 2 n/a which i've converted with a rev3 turbo engine.

as you can see the car exterior is standard apart from -40mm lowering springs fitted. this is a t-bar version of the vehicle and comes with full leather interior which is in good condition. shell has covered 128000miles.

engine is as follows:
1.5mm HKS Head Gasket
JE Pistons
Eagle Conrods
Mongoose Exhaust system + Decat
Cambelt Change at 57000, engine currently done 69000

Car starts and runs perfect everytime, boosts perfectly! also drives fine but has a few bad points that need sorting that i cant afford to do at the moment. They are:

Requires Rev3 ECU, currently running n/a ecu so does not run at full potential.
Needs steering rack replaced (comes with car but needs fitting) as wobbles slightly at high speed.
Speedo doesnt work due to difference with n/a and turbo wiring, simple to fix
Currently no Tax but MOT til may/june 07
No stereo, also arial was snapped off by thug

The car is a good example for her age, and the engine is fantastic, i just cant afford to keep her at the moment.

I would think with an uprated turbo, intercooler, and a remap she could run some serious power with the current internals.

She is still registered as an n/a so is still cheap to insure as its a UK car.

pics as below, i'm based in south wales, the car can be driven away no problem as i've been using her for work for the last 4 months with no probs, tax has only just ran out so shes SORN. Also the private plate does not come with the car so new ones will need to be made up!

For £300/£400 this car can be up and running sound as a pound for some lucky man/woman, but when you face near bancrupcy you make some silly decisions!

Any questions, please don't hesiate.

Looking for £1500 ono

Open to a good offer!

now a lower price, asking for £1500ono, would probably get more breaking the car but don't need the hassle right now. she all ready to drive away if theres someone out there interested? willing to help deliver if its a long way to come.
