I HAVE DONE LESS THAN 3000 KILOMETRES SINCE BUYING LAST SUMMER AND WAS INFORMED AT THE TIME THAT THE CAR WAS IMPORTED THE PREVIOUS YEAR (2005)
AT THIS TIME OR PRIOR TO THIS THE CLUTCH WAS CHANGED TO A RACE CLUTCH? AND THE CAMBELT CHANGED AT SAME TIME! – HOWEVER I HAVE NO PROOF OF THIS BEING CHANGED BUT HAVE TO RELY ON HONESTY (MAKES SENSE TO CHANGE AT SAME TIME THOUGH!)

THE CAR IS WORKING PERFECTLY TO MY KNOWLEDGE – IT HOLDS THE ROAD LIKE A DREAM AND THE POWER IS ALWAYS THERE WHEN NEEDED BUT AS PER USUAL I NEED EXTRA SEATS FOR FAMILY USE!

Given the time of year you may get between £3400-£3600 as its a rev2. Had it been t-bar or rev3 then would easily have been over £4k. Prices do seem rather inflated at the moment so its a good time to sell.

My Rev2 turbo was written off in January. It took me months to find that one because all the ones I went to see before it were sheds. Since the death of that car I went up and down the country looking at mr2 turbo's rev1 - rev3. It took about 2 months to find my current one which is rev1.

I saw some average cars and some down right shockers. When I finally found a good one I knew it because it was streets ahead of the rest and i therefore spent more than what people would probably advise as the 'right' price for a rev1. This is because I had discovered that each car, be it early or late rev, is individual due to almost all being modified and often paperwork absent pre importation and most knackered(most people i came across were selling because they were knackered but covering it up by giving some naff excuse)! Almost all for sale, in my experience, were not good and in fact a waste of time travelling to..

Therefore I think that if your car is in genuinely good condition it will sell for 3 grand - if in spotless/awesome condition then more than that because a spotless one is a rare thing and buyers are out there, like I was, waiting to find a good one and therefore willing to pay for it. If its honestly a good/excellent one then a genuine buyer will buy it for 3grand plus because they'll know what they're looking at and will no doubt be getting annoyed with all the tat that they've probably already seen. You might have to be patient for the right buyer, but they'll come...

This is all my recent experience and many others have obviously had other differing experiences, but all for sale at around the 2500quid mark that i saw had faults, were clocked, had badly fitting body panels, dodgy dump valves, mis-fitted air filters, muchos kerbed wheels, thick black oil, faulty thermostats (cos h/g knackered on one!)..lock stock, the f+@@ing lot.
