[Mk2] [Turbo] Where to fix HARNESSES?

got some racing harneses on order and wondered the best place to fix them to the car ie behind the seat has anyone got any pics of the fixing positions?

The previous owner of my car fixed his in by drilling 2 holes through the firewall and attaching bolts to them - they were directly behind the passenger seat and came up 1 behind the heat shield and 1 clearly visible in the engine bay. Still not totally sure where he fixed the other 2 mounts though, however there are some suspicious looking holes in the floor carpet.

I wouldn't mind having a look at some pictures of someone elses setup, as i have just bought some buckets and wanting to put some harnesses in!

Ive got harness bolts in mine, il try take some pics in morn and post them mate

thats qaulity mate much appreciated! :thumleft: unfortunately wont be able to see them tonight as im taking advantage of the weather and goin down the coast overnight :D 8) but will definately have a butchers at them tomoz :D

Its VERY important you mount the shoulder straps in that sort of position btw, and not bolt them to the floor behind the seat.

just out of interest were does the crotch strap bolt up to?

those are 6 point harnesses, just got 2 eye bolts going through the floor with spreader plates on the bottom.
