Had a play with one of these today ona straight stretch of road. We both pulled away from a roundabout, through to 4th gear, had to stop due to car and then pulled away in 3rd up to 4th again. Very surprised, it didnt pull away that much. It was faster, but not by that much.
I know they have 350BHP, but i was dissapointed i expected it to pi** all over me. I imagine a turbo with 300bhp would be its match.

Either you've got some serious horsepower in your MR2, or the Noble driver wasn't getting the max out of his car (i.e. changing up too early, etc).
Those babies are amazingly rapid. I'm jealous.

He seemed very keen by his driving style. I know they have 350bhp, but dont know about the torque. Mine is a mildly tuned tubby, nothing special.

Re: noble M12R
I was out in a Noble GTO3R a couple of weeks ago round Combe.
They are very quick and absolutely fly when the revs climb.
I'd suggest he wasn't trying overly hard. they weigh less than a tubby too so you'd need say 380ish bhp at least to match one.

Re: noble M12R
He was probably racing you in 5th lol I usually do that with slower cars which are not worthy of a downshift
Ive witnessed Nobles on track and they are stupid quick no doubt about it.
