I've alread emailed on ebay to say that. Then I asked a Q on here about insuarnec, and I already hvae a v6 and a na with my eyes on a Mk1 ... a few months ago, pre-mr2 I was a normal person with a Golf.

Ive got one too, its insured as a classic with footman james for £380, loads of mods declared and limited mileage of 4500.

There have been a handful forsale recently, I picked my 1.5 up from a chap who emmigrated to Australia (he returned a few months later and asked to buy the car back!) . I guess it is usually down to personal circumstances and more likely finances (or possibly a nagging wife?!)
