Guildford Midnight Run: Moonlight MR2 *meeting point on page 7*

Post by Tiamat »

In response to some suggestions on the March Guildford meet thread I am proposing a Midnight Run probably on a similar route to that which the normal Guildford Meet runs i.e. A283/A272/A286. The difference being this is a night run. I have picked 01 June 2007 as the day, it is a Friday and it is also a full moon so it should help provide some additional light. I am proposing there be two "runs" at 10 minutes apart with about ten cars in each run as a maximum. This will account for anyone getting lost and also hopefully prevent any potential shenanigans taking up the whole of the convoy.

Anyone interested, please put your name down. I will sort out an exact route in the near future together with some plans for drinks / food etc.

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

well, depends how much bonus i get this month.... if i get a good one *MAY* be able to see if i can find meself a nice rev1, but ideally I'd like mine to go first, and the insurance seems to have got cheaper since i last did a quote :-k

i'd be happy to let it go silly cheap just to move it along, like i was saying yesterday, I'd be happy to let it go for the approx cost of the finance (about £3.9k last check a couple of months ago)

dam boost, why is it addictive? although i think the journey down the motorway was what swung it for me, how can it feel so stable at that speed?!
