Black '2' polished up

Post by dawolf »

Decided to wash and polish my black G-Limited on Friday afternoon as the weather was so nice. Took these pics yesterday while the sun was still partially out. It's the first time I've polished it up fully since the end of the summer and I think it came up really well, although it does look pretty shiny anyway. Any comments appreciated.

Hi Dawolf,

Got same, or very nearly same wheels on my black Mk2.

Looks great but needs lowering, although you need to decide on looks or a comfy ride, hope the wheels are 17". Those wheels are also pretty thin for the rear and I'd go for some thin spacers just to bring them in line with the body (same as mine)

Biased, but black rear lights and rear centre panel look the mustard.

Thanks for comments, I don't think it needs lowering as it's harsh enough really. I was tempted to get rev 3 rear lights but I'm probably going to get a rev 3 turbo later in the year anyway. The reason the wheels don't sit out of the rear arches is that I have 215 width tyres instead of 225 or 235.

Lose the graphics on the side mate. The one on the backs alright but its n/a and im fairly sure you dont have any hks or blitz parts? Will look a lot better also. My opinion anyway but the wheels suit it!
