South East meet London/Essex borders March 4

Post by turbo steve »

Date: Sunday 4th March 2007

Time: 10am

Location: Hollywood Bowl Newham, Jenkins Lane, Newham, Barking, IG11 0AD

It's by the Cinema. You can't miss it.

Location: Please park up outside Burger King

Plan for the morning:

Meet up, have a chat, drink coffee etc and then go for a drive ending with a pub lunch.

This time we'll have a route sorted so we can go for a leisurely drive and all end up at the pub! maps will be provided on the day. (if I can get organised)

See you on the day.

Here's a video of the last meet. No sound unfortunately.

This looks lke good fun, I enjoyed the vid too even with out the sound. But then i've a good imagination lol

I would be very keen to come along to the next one. It would be nice to have some exotica to look at for a change, and to tease them about me having a faster car lol :clown:

Give me a shout via this thread or pm and I'll come along :)

I'm still on course for tis one. I'm having the new seats and cage fitted Saturday, so i'll miss out on Boxhill :( So this should ease the pain a little :thumleft: Let's just hope it all goes according to plan :? Who know it might even be dry :-k [-o<

Cross Country Chase

Went out on the run at 8am just to test the route out, wet but sunny.

About 20 miles, country bit, small cross town bit, country bit, Should be a blast.

So it was a 40 mile round trip for me then spent the afternoon cleaning the car.
Fingers crossed for fine weather 10am till about 2pm tomorrow (please!!)

I would go with the wets guys :)

I will be there regardless of the weather cos I am hard

see you tomorrow

Sorry for not showing today guys. I was working on the car all day Saturday installing the new roll cage and trying to fit the new seats also. I managed to finish the cage but the seats will have to wait for now :!: :( T

I simply had to much on today, (paper work) to have enabled me to make it along  I guess the weather didn't help either really #-o

I hope those that went had a good time :thumleft:

Yep, certainly was fun, having a nice burn up through the country lanes! :D

Shame it rained a little bit, but hey, who cares about a little bit of wet, when your chasing turbocharged sports cars through fast, twisty lanes!

Great fun, hopefully see you next time Steve, and maybe MikeJC too.

Dean.
