search issues

two problems that im experiencing,

1-finding that when trying to search for something in particular im getting mostly irrellivent(sorry about spelling)replies...

2-after getting search replies,clicking on one to read then WANTING TO GO BACK AND HAVE A LOOK AT THE NEXT ONE IM GETTING"WEBPAGE EXPIRED"
im then having to type in my search again and having the same experience....am i doing something wrong or can the problem be rectified...

1 - Could well be a problem with the terms your using in search (although I'll be the first to agree that it isn't a great search in phpbb)

2 - Don't use internet explorer. It's only a problem with IE, and we certainly aren't the only site who has that problem.

yeah i had the exact same problem with IE,
if you get Mozilla Firefox it will fix that (plus the spell check feature is great for forruums)
