quick question help please!

iv got my car booked in , in a weeks time for a cambelt change, and when i checked my car this morning i noticed another belt which is badly worn, and hanging on by a thread . if you stand at the drivers side of the car, and look into engine bay, its a belt at the bottom left hand side. i need to know what it is so i can order it, incase it takes longer than a week.
help me please!

Sounds like your fan belt.

From drivers side....

left is alternator belt, right is air-con belt.

If it's a very thin belt it could be the power steering belt (if your car has PAS).

err....the power steering pump is in the front of the car.......unless they changed it between revisions?

sorry no photos, i dont know how to put them on. il order a fan belt too then. it must be that, as theres a squeeling noise when i first start it up.
