mk1 LPG conversion for sale. nice extras - someone decide for me!

Post by bob5513 »

Not had her very long (I've never owned a car more than a few months!) but it's constantly bugging me how litle I use it (I'm in London most of the time) and how much it's costing me through insurance (no no claims available) and doing things up plus I have use of two other cars...anyway I'll have to sell up sooner or later as I'm off around the world in the summer so here goes...

F reg (F66 OOU) mica blue Mr2, t-bar, full leather interior (although I currently have cloth seats in while I was planning to have the leather seats stitched - I have four spares!)

Professional LPG conversion (£1200 reciept) with tank in boot. Such a good feeling filling up with £15!!! just switches to and from petrol on a button and runs as well with it on.

Adjustable Koni suspension all round (just put it on!)

Twin exit powerflow exhaust (lifetime gaurantee apparently)

Digital dash from an Astra GTE

k/n filter, grooved brake discs on front, pretty new tyres, cd player.

I've spent the last few months replacing bits and pieces of trim to get her up to a good standard but I've not got all the way yet. Interior is pretty tidy except the corner of the dash. There's a crack in the windscreen which could be fixed on insurance...except I found out I'm not covered for it! Tyres need a balance I think but otherwise drives and runs lovely. I put a brand new alternator on last month and the engine bay is very clean.

Serviced at local garage last month too but coolant is next on the to-do list.

As you might gether I've had no plans to sell it until ... yesterday ... I've got definate plans for the summer and the following year now and the '2 can't come along (airplane tiket cost too high). I'm thinking I may as well sell it before the MOT comes along during exam time but she'll only go for a fair price ... it's too good to let slip or I'll wrap her up and store her 'til I'm back. I was thinking of £1500 no less, perhaps throwing in the tax until december (a good 100pounds worth) if it sells to a IMOC member. I've not advertised it elsewhere - I'm still sitting on the fence a little since I love it to bits but conscience is saying it's not sensible so someone decide for me by putting a wodge in my hand or telling me to keep it!

There's a photo in my garage or give me a ring on 07835779964. Thanks!

rob

MOT is until April (ish): will double check, mileage is unknown because the dash has been fitted (76k). oh, i keep thinking of things...remote central locking, alarm, mountney steering wheel, original toolkit, t-bar blinds...thats enough ...come and see it if at all interested. Paint work is fair all round and arches are generally solid (a few blisters on o/s/r only). THANKS!
