Physical help needed! :)

Post by Paul R »

Hi,

Anyone fancy giving me a hand getting my engine back into my tubby this week? :D.

I have no help at all this week and and I wanted to get the sucker in! I have just got to put the gearbox and clutch on first - I could also do with some help with that!

If anyone has a hoist, that would be cool. Otherwise I'll hire one for the night again.

I know I'm being hopefull......but worth a try ;)

I'm sure I could hire a couple of strippers to perform while we work.

but 80 miles isnt far enough - ah well...if only you would go 101 miles ;) lol

I'd be willing to help when you get back from hols. Im only 20miles away, although I dont know too much about fitting an engine but it would be useful thing to learn :)

Cheers,

I'll bear that in mind mate. Doesnt look like I'll be doing it this week and I'm on holiday next week, so I may send you a PM in a couple of weeks!

It's not too hard to fit the engine, just a lot of pulling here, pushing there, twisting here...raising, lowering etc etc....

Once the engine is in, it will be a matter of a week or so before it's all back together and running (hopefully)!! :)

Cheers,

Paul.
