Hi Steve,

All being well, I should be there :)

Any idea on what time people are setting out from the Cinema for the run? Also, I might be asking a mate if he wants to come along for the ride/take photos - videos etc. I take it that that is ok?

Keith :)

Report copied from Roadster owners club post

After standing around on my own for a while (I did get there early) I started to think was this a good idea. Then I heard the roar as a Ferrari and Maserati pulled into the car park. Ok so I am not on my own I thought. Within minutes two Lambos and a GT40 had joined us then another Ferrari and I was glad I had got up early Sunday morning!

Dean from imoc blasted up and down the side road, then rumbled into the car park in his rev 2 turbo (super clean and with a wicked exhaust) a Noble followed, and Robin in his Esprit (the guy from the last run, with no boxes on his exhaust, who rattled the tiles off the Blackwall Tunnel!!) yet another Maserati arrived and a Honda NSX.

After an hour of chat and drooling, it was into Burger King to plan the run. Thurrock services for petrol, Tilbury docks and finishing at a pub in Horndon Essex was decided on, a 30-40 minute run, with plenty of country lanes.

At this point things got a bit blurry and as I was busy trying to keep up with the NSX leading the pack and the two Maserati's following him, I can only wonder what happened to everyone else! But keep up I did (Hass turbo kit I love you) and only the four of us made it, so a pub lunch and lager shandy finished off the day.

Hope you got home ok Dean :D

Oooww, i think everyone will agree that my 2 stands out a bit amongst all those bloody lambo's!!!

Was a good day till i got left behind!!

We had a nice little convoy going on, till that NSX booted it! Steve followed him off into the distance, then next thing i know the lotus and the black ferrari turned round... :? so i followed them, then the lotus dissapeared!!

Went home after that. :(

Had to go to work anyway!!

P.S. Steve. i still have your batteries in my camera! #-o

Good day, nice to meet ya Steve. :thumleft: Keith :?: lazy....

I wondered what happened to everyone :?

So the old mr2 roadster (turbo) can keep up with Maseratis and NSXs eh 8) who says you need to spend mega bucks

dont worry about the batteries, its a good excuse to come next time

speaking of which, its on Sun March 4. I will do a new post in events later.
Also I am going to organise the run in advance and print some maps so everyone makes it to the pub, cos not everyone wants to drive there at warp factor10 like Mr NSX

Mr NSX gets my vote!!

I just wish the ferrari in front of me had "warmed up" his engine!! Oh well, i've learnt a lesson, next time i'll just have to leave him behind! Lol!!
