[Mk2] [Generic] group buy on HID'S

hi all,

just wondered who'd be interested in a group buy on hid bulbs for there mr2.

i've spoken to a supplier and am awaiting some final prices.

so i'm just posting to guage a rough idea on who'd be up for this group buy obviously price and quality depending.

this is also posted on the mr2oc aswell!

so who's up for it?

update:

i spoke to my supplier and he said that they are bi-xenon and are e-marked however he doesn't offer any gurantee that they will pass the mot which is understandable

its down to the customer if they are prepared to take the risk.

i'll have some more info sent through to me soon which i'll post up.

this is merely a post to guage some idea of who's interested in hid's in general and if theres enough interest then i've got something to go to the suppliers with.

like with all group buys its hard to commit to a price if you don't know who'd be interested and likewise people don't wanna commit to anything before they see the product which being a consumer i fully understand.

i'll get the info asap.

i think speedy has a GB going on at the moment buddy on these, i did offer some as well on the affiliates section.

Seemed to be enough interest if you did do a group buy.

hi peeps i spoke to my supplier in the uk and here's what he said.

for minimum of 5 I can do the single beam kits will be available for sale to members at the low price of £105.00 delivered and the bi-xenon kits are available for £135.00 delivered.



These usually ship from china but sometimes the US. They are sent with a low value of about £5.00 so as not to get any import charge but occasionally you will be charged but only on the value amount stated.

No fear, apparently on about page 16 it says its because the supplier is not supposed to have direct links with group buys...

That wasn't what I was getting at. The supplier that was 'banned' was not officially banned from wrong doing, he is legit and was used for the ordering still. It is the rules of the said forum for the supplier to not have contact with the members on a GB basis, hence why he was just labelled with this - they should have used a different title as its misleading.
