non owners going to meets

are there many non owners/prospective owners that go to meets? thought i would ask as would hate to turn up and feel unwelcome. Doesnt seem to be many tubbies round these parts and i dont know anybody that owns one so would love to see a group of them together and maybe blag a ride in one (never been in one before)

I'm not sure where "these parts" are but I'm sure you'd be welcome at any meet - just tell those going what car you'll arrive in or what you look like and someone will come and welcome you

yeah not a problem with most of us, we just stand around and chat about cars and then head off to the nearest pub....... whilst losing a few on the way

i used to turn up to the supra meets in the mr2 when i was down south..... used to say mine was a baby supra hehehehe

Three non-owners came to the Norwich meet last Thursday, ok they were mates of people there but they like cars and I expect they felt as welcome as anyone else. At the end of the day meets are there to show the cars off to each other (if not no one would take their car!) , so yeah I would turn up if you wanted to.
