Reluctantly selling my Rev2 following the purchase of a Rev3.
I was going to keep them both but the rev2 is getting no use and is taking up space on the driveway I need for a new project.This was my first MR2.
I've owned her now for just over 2 years and there's 96,000 on the clock. I am the second owner, the car was imported in 1995 by the first owner with 56,000 KM on the clock so by my reckoning that's a total of 74,000 miles. I have all the MOT's to back up the mileage.The car was serviced at Appleyard Toyota in Birmingham by the previous owner and by Ron Brooks Toyota in Derbyshire whilst in my possession.
Recently I have started doing the maintenance work myself but using Toyota parts (with receipts) and Mobil 1 (0W-40)The car is standard in looks but has some mild modifications to the engine, an Apexi filter, 3" Downpipe, Mongoose exhaust and cold grade plugs.
These all complement the CT20b Turbo upgrade and the car has strong performance compared to standard. I have all original parts if desired to return the car to standard.The paintwork is in good condition, the bumpers have been sprayed to remove stone chips and the car appears red and not pink like some red Toyotas.
There is a small dint to the drivers door about the size of a 20p coin. I have been quoted £60 to have this fixed by a dentless technician. The interior is stand with a nice pioneer radio and just has slight wear on the gear stick and steering wheel.
The car has had a new clutch fitted by powerhouse engineering, new blueprint front discs and pads and new handbrake cables and rear pads fitted by Toyota.
Powerhouse also replace the metal heater pipes with rubber hose as they cracked and flushed and refilled with longlife coolant. The car has Yokohama A022 all round although the rears need replacing which I was going to do before sale. The car is also fitted with a Clifford Concept alarm Thatcham Cat1. The front indicators are the later clear style, again genuine toyota not the crystal copies that arent even e marked.In summary this is a cracking car in near original condition.
