You should wait till its snowing:

Pic is looking down the derbyshire bridge road just past the cat pub.

Had an enormous amount of fun driving up there in snow and slush, could only manage 30mph, trouble is timing it right so you get up there before they close the road (A54 to boseley was already closed by police at that point).

Where exactly is this road?

I'm in Lincolnshire, but it certainly looks worth a trip!

The road runs beteween macclesfield & buxton (A537 i think)(cheshire/derbyshire border) incredible road up & over the moors. Very twisty road with quite high drops in some places off to the side. Its a haven for high performance motorbikes & kitcars during the summer with a pub (cat n fiddle) up on the top of the moor where everyone gathers. S'posed to be one of the most dangerous roads in the uk, no speed cameras i dont think, but unmarked police cars patrol the road. Well worth a day out even from lincs. If you do try it sometime, try the A54 too, Buxton/congleton road.
