Additional Static Content

Why doesnt someone take some typical MR2 cars say std, mildly modded and heavily modded and compile a chart of most competitive insurance quotes from various brokers. Just another idea to cut repetive posts by people annually. Shouldnt cost anything as most of them can be done over the net. What ya think?

The problem is that it varies so much on people's ages, modifications and where they live.
If I move to the next town my insurance increases by around £100 which is a little under 50% of my premium.
All because of the post code change and the risk to the vehicle.

Yeah, i realise this but just thought it would provide a very loose idea as to who is the most competitive, thats all. It would certainly help narrow things downa little and save members a little phone bill.

I understand, I just think the variables are way too much to be of use.

However some form of insurance recommendation thread / forum could be of some use.

Good call, there was one on the old site IIRC?

As much as we'd like one, I think a guide would be out of date too quickly.

Though it is something that I have considered and would like to see, just the format needs to be thought out carefully.

Maybe a dedicated thread for recommended insurers that sort of thing.
