Suggested price for my Rev 1 MK II Uk T-Bar please

Post by Greddy-Matt »

Ok I know its not the best time of year for selling MR2’s, but would anyone be kind enough to give me a rough idea of what I could sell my 2 for? I need to sell it pretty quickly in order to fund a new project. I bought the car in may 2005, and in the year and a bit I’ve had it I’ve spent about 5k on it, it’s a 91 MKII Rev 1 UK car T-bar model with full leather etc. Its pretty much immaculate, I’ve had it serviced every 6 months by Toyota since I’ve had it, got stacks of receipts etc and she’s done about 89’000 miles so far,

Here’s what’s I’ve done so far :

New front shocks (Toyota)
Brake discs front
Brake pads front
Front and rear anti roll bar bushes (Toyota)
Spax -40mm lowering springs
Turbo X style suspension brace (Toyota)
Momo belt pads
Speed hut white el glow dials/red lettering reverse glow.
TRD fuel filler cap
Footwell mats (Toyota)
Full re-spray by Dawsons in original 3j6 red
Front offside brake calliper
Wolfrace D1 Drift 17 inch alloys
Falken Tyres all round (5/6mm tread all round)
Sparco “Ring” Steering Wheel, Leather/Black
Sony S2000 colour coded (red) headunit
Dizzy cap (Toyota)
Rotor arm (Toyota)
TRD round leather type gear shifter
Crystal front corners / side lights
Crystal Side repeaters / silvered bulbs
Stainless steel tax disc holder
Stainless steel sill protectors with “MR2” engraved logo
S-bits front drop links
Type G front splitter from Rogue
Type G side skirts from Rogue
Greddy genuine Rear spats – not in pics
Colour coded rubbing strips etc
Mesh for vents in skirts / black anodized
Cusco style polished front suspension brace
New clutch – sept 06 – 3s
New cambelt – sept 06 – 3s
Mongoose St exhaust from Rogue – sept 06
Mongoose De-Cat from Rogue – sept 06
K&N induction kit from Rogue – oct 06
Polished induction kit heat shield – oct 06

She’s just had an oil change and fresh plugs too.

to be honest, you'll not get that much for a UK REV1.
You would make much more by breaking and selling bits. It can be a hassle to do, but depends on what you want. More cash or quickly get rid of car...
