Does anyone know if you can check HT leads to see if they are internally worn (i.e. using a voltmeter or such)?

Yeah wouldn't harm it to change leads aswell seeing as you have changed the other ignition parts, usually leads would be included with that bunch anyway to change.
Worse case scenario it aint leads at least you know the ignition components were all done at same time.
