How did the car come on boost? Is your right foot not controlled by your head at all? #-o

Your mate sounds like an idiot, get someone who has a clue what they are looking at. If you are so convinced it is just buckled wheels take each one off and roll it accross the floor, usually a pretty good indication failing getting it span on a machine to check the rotation is true.

Don't drive it without an inspection, you're only likely to crash it again, besides not gona get very far if the rad is bu88ered.

Regarding claiming on your insurance, I wouldn't bother tbh, the amount you will end up paying out in the form of excess and the insurance premium increase you will be paying for over the next 5 years due to making a claim.

If the damage is substantial, it might be better off just scrapping the car and starting again if the car doesn't really have any special one off mods on it, as the value of the car isn't really gona be anything substantial in comparison to the price of repair or the costs of the insurance claim.

Good luck with it!

Smooth smooth and smooth mate, if U've good tyres and adopt a smooth driving style there aint any reason it should snap hard on you.

Its sudden quick changes that upset these cars, quick changes of direction, aggresive throttle, hard braking whilst turning (ie mid corner).

The most common way seems to be the change of direction when coming off a wet round about.

Also, if you drive it like a front wheel drive car (hard power mid corner) your asking for trouble.

Have fun, hope she stays on the dark stuff from now on mate :)

Might be worth doing some driver training in the form of an airfield day or somesuch. If the car threw you the other way then you put on too much opposite lock, too late.
