K - reg, rev2 or rev 3?

Post by Hurstie1981 »

Hello,

Just a quick one.
Is a K reg gonna be a rev 2 or a rev 3, or is it one of those where it depends on what month it was made?
Just looking at an advert, and not sure what to make of it.

Thanks

Check for an air flow meter, it's the obvious difference.

Do rev 1 and 2's not have an airflow meter?

Rev1/2's do have them rev3+ don't. There is plenty of other ways of telling too but that's the really obvious one.

Instant visual difference is the rear spoiler. Rev1/2's have the 3 piece one and the rev3 has a single piece one. Front splitter on the bumper will be colour coded on a rev3 and black on a rev2. The rest will be mainly engine differences.

Thanks again mark!

Just looking to buy one soon as my mate has made a good offer for my NA.
Was wondering what the main differences were, and why the price was such a noticable increase!
