Come on Guys, Jonno has been good enough to organise this, and Banzai will be taking an interest, so get the cobwebs off your wallets and pay up!
Look how much 'interest' was expressed at first :? :x

I said that i would like to be a reserve before but then realised that it clashes with the Nurburgring trip... If it was to be held the weekend after i would defo have gone!...

And put my monies where my mouth is.. I mean what happend to all those who said they could make it?!!?

Unfortunately its a fact of life for IMOC events - you try and get a feel for interest levels, if everyone is interested you organise the event, then once you have set everything in concrete, 80% drop out and you have to run around like a headless chicken trying to scape enough people together to be able to run the event. Its the same every year.

Last year I resorted to cold calling my mates and making them feel guilty until they agreed to run :)

Probably wont do another one at this rate though!

Neil.

I hear what your saying Neil.. What i would suggest is to take a unrefundable deposit well in advance of the meet so that way you will be able to give the garage advance warning if you have to canx of the event.

The club can get a bad rep if things like this keep occuring... which is a shame as its a very good setup from what i have gathered.

Just my 2 pennies worth...

Just for myself.. i would love to join a RR meet...been wanting to get my car on the rollers for a while..

Story of imoc .... as soon as the crunch / money comes people scarper like a hooker at christmas.

I recon a name and shame policy of timewasters should be adopted and then a database kept so that they have to pay a deposit to even get on the list in the first place
Small turbos - they're not big and they're not clever!

Just say NO to small turbos!

How about if we open this to other Jap clubs at this stage? Sadly the IMOC apathy seems to be well and truly in effect :(
