Think Im missing a badge??

Post by blue2 »

My mr2 is a k reg non turbo GT. However it only has the "toyota" badge on the back and nothing on the other side. I have seen many cars on this site with GT badges and the like. Should my car have one and if so does anyone no were I can get one for a good price??

Your car is either a uk spec non turbo GTi (they normally have GTi badge on back) or an import non turbo G-Limited (G-Limited badge), GT and GTS are both jap turbos, but quite alot of uk spec GTi's and jap G-Limiteds are registered as a GT, but it aint a GT as we know it jim!, its just people registering them for whatever reasons I do not know.

Alot of imports dont have badges on back, my last G-Limited had GT like yours, bootlid was either changed or owner bought a GT badge?

Don't worry bout the badges, keep with the smooth ass baby!!!

Mine is a UK car. On the log book it says 1998cc GT sports. I have noticed a couple of small scratches on the back so I was thinking that some t!at nicked the badge. Ill need to get hold of a new badge to cover up the dings

Try asking your local Mr T they will be able to get a badge for you or will know of somewhere that will.
