I dont mind heading down your way. Any good pub grub around your area you recommend, Stokesley or somewhere else in the Cleveland Hills? I am open for suggestions. Only thing is I would like to get into a pub for lunch before 1pm. Weather is going to be low 20's and sunny down that area. I can see my car getting a polish in the morning before meeting up.
I would suggest somewhere to go, but I'm having trouble thinking of anywhere!
If you're thinkin around Stokesley way, there's a few pubs in Great Broughton, can't say I've ever been to them though, so no idea what they're like!
Whitby sounds good. If we are to get there for around 12.30 I would suggest meeting around 11.45 at Wolviston Services. Others can join us on the route south on the A19 to the A174 junction.
I will be meeting Leakie on the Chester Le Street slip road joining the A1 at 11am then we will come down the A1 and across the A689 to Wolviston Services.
I will check in on this thread around 9:30 this morning to see who else wants to meet where.
Was a great run out in the car with great mates for company.
Now, where should I start. Tina, (Kevs better half) gave me info about Kev to help ease the pain of him killing my bucket at JAE. Should I tell you about Kev the roller disco king and his Green lycra body suit, or Kev the gentle giant who cant go anywhere without his teddy bear. I kid you not. Wait until the next meet and watch him cringe. Well done Tina.=D> =D> =D>
Forgot to add, we found a new pub grub venue for future outings. Its called The Grapes at Scaling Dam about 10 miles out from Whitby on the A171. Big restaurant overlooking the large car park to the side so we can keep an eye on our little treasures while pigging out.
The Teddy is a fathers day key ring from my son errrmmm...
As for the roller disco it was an Eletric blue spandex all in one it shows off my beans and billy fine....
