Hi All,

Great meet, really nice to meet you all new faces and catch up with the old ones.
Steve, glad you got your car sorted in the end and finally made it over.
GordyR and Tiamat really nice to meet you two, thanks for making the effort and driving up.

Sorry I didn't manage to stay out long enough for the drive but it sounds like you all had great fun.

Regards

Ha ha! Highly recommended!

Will have some pics up as soon as my crappy old Windows laptop finishes messing about transferring files to Photobucket (and thus frees some bandwidth for my new MacBook :) ).

Kev (Kloot182) is working on the video upload as I type this...

Sorry lads.. Went home.. My breaks are crap. They were starting to fail. :( The reason i wasn't taking round abouts decently is i don't trust my breaks at all.

What do you need brakes for on a roundabout :? Dave ya wimp ...... I'll soooo own you at karting

Sounds like you had a good time folks...... Cant wait to see the pics \:D/

hi guys!

excellent meet, and what a great turn-out. what was the total numer of cars? 11, 12?

you gotta love the noise of that many 2's starting up and pulling out of the coldecotte car park!

was a slightly more sedate drive to kfc this time - let the NA boys keep up! :P

drive at the end was pretty cool too. i turned off and headed for home at the a509 roundabout. where did u guys end up?

Draven, u gotta do one more before the end of the year, u never know, it may not be as cold as last year!

If I recall correctly the first 2 cars to arrive at KFC were N/A's \:D/

The little drive at the end was fun though, you shouldn't have turned of son, as soon as we got out of Buckingham the roads were fairly empty.

Although in a straight line draven was pulling away from me by the exit of each corner I was right back on his ass again .
It's not how fast the car is it's down to the driver and how far they are willing to push it. I'm pretty sure if you put Button behind the wheel of an N/A he would be able to keep up with most GTS's.

Brilliant - we'll be well up for that! \:D/

As soon as people stop pestering me here at work, I'll get some photos sorted...

Anyone going to do a write-up of the meet in the 'Previous Events' section (or whatever its called)?

I didnt really know whereyou were going to be honest - didnt know if i was just chasing back to your place or something. Where abouts did you go anyway? I turned off at the A509 roundabout I think.

Was quite hard to keep up sometimes as the overtaking oppurtunities seemed to dry up after the 1st two 2's went through. Maybe I'm just a wimp tho :-k

Hey Ryan, cheers for the look at you're headunit relocation. I've been inspired to do the same now, but with 2 or 3 guages instead.

Photobucket got a bit silly about some of the photos, and there are about 20 missing, but here are those that survived the upload:

Apologies for the crapness of them; I haven't had time to alter them or even rotate those that need rotating... :D
