can anybody tell me how much a gts turbo coupe 1997 is worth with 95000 kilometers as a guy is selling one near me for £5000 from what i understand this seems cheap and from what the guy is telling me it just needs a bit of paintwork (scab on arch and scuff on bumper) he has had the car for 4 years it was brought in from ireland
the only thing is is that it has full leather i do not think they come with leather?
any help guys!!!!

what do you mean by "brought in from ireland"???
a 97 tubby would fetch about 2-3 grand more than that, so i dont know how ligit this deal is TBT.

You'll need the chassis number to find the true date of manufacture.

£5k seems awfully cheap for a 1997 turbo.

I wouldn't worry about the leather interior as that's easy to change and many owners want the leather.

I'd be wanting the chassis number before anything else.

mines a K reg (seatbelts it says 1994) but on the V5 it says 2003 (date of import)..... he may be getting a bit confused but if it is a 97 then that is cheap mate. i'd do the checks on it as it does sound a little too good to be true!..... sorry to put a downer on things- it could be genuine but i'd take all the precations first (AA inspection?)!

Date of first registration 1997

This car was never a UK car it lived in japan first (all turbos did) possibly for a few year - the V5 date is the year it first hit the UK for that money expect it to be about a 1992 model perhaps a 1993 if the guy is taken the condition into account its not going to be a 1997 mate because they hold MUCH more money than that.

Do NOT let the guy rush you more so if he keeps telling you its a 1997 model!
