I had so much fun on the retrorun though the Northamptonshire countryside yesterday and 2 'parade' laps this morning of the silverstone circuit.. they were fast parade laps and my back end was well out of shape around Luffield, and my brakes were smoking when I finished (pointed out by a chap in a Lambo!)

A great event, well organised as usual. My sincere thanks to The Mr2 Mk1 club for letting me be a part of it.

LOL! they were 'supposed' to be parade laps i'm jealous you got to hoof it around the track!

BTW - check your calipers to make sure the sliders are free enough, as this can cause 'hot' brakes on one side only like yours did. HTH
Good to see MK1's alongside all the other cool cars too.
