JAE - Pics, IMOC-UK Show and Shine winners.

Post by BenF »

JAE - A really good event this year, and a huge step forwards - I hope everyone had a good time there (I certainly did!) and enjoyed the benefits of working with MR2ROC and the Mk1Club on the shared stand.

On the MR2 Village, we had around 140 MR2s on display on Saturday - about 55 Mk1s, 55 Mk2s and 30 Roadsters across all the clubs.

Big thanks to everyone who helped plan the event (Tom, Anna, Alex) and all those who helped set up the stands on Friday, and help run the stand through the weekend, and help pack up on Sunday afternoon.

I have just sorted through the 350-odd photos I took over the weekend and have picked out 100.

You can see them all here, but just to give you a taster :

Sorry couldn't help it!

I've got a sneaky suspision as to why imoc didn't win the footy game, don't think everyone was pulling their weight:

Also, i don't think the impromptue morris dancing helped win any trophies either!

PMSL Steve - nice work on those photos ;)

Looking through the footie ones, there's plenty of 'creative' opportunities.

I just wish I'd brought along the video camera for the Boxing on Saturday - it was really funny to watch. Mark vs Enis vs Andi was apparently the top billing, unfortuantly I was away finding more batteries for the camera and so missed it :(
