Halfrauds yellow silicone rubber restorer thingymibob!

Hello,

To stop my t-bar dripping on my arm, ive heard on the site somewhere that you can get something from halfrauds in a yellow can!
I went in today, and saw a can of general purpose lubricant, in a large yellow tin.....could this be the one, as it just seemed to be a general lubricant?

i used auto glym bumper repair and it did the trick. To be honest i think any high silicone content cream/gel/spray would be fine HTH

yeah i think thats about it mate. my leak was cured overnight and no silly money paid to mr t either.

The other side leaks too, but thats cos the window doesnt go up quite far enough! Its about 1mm too short of reaching the top!!
Ive got a replacement window for cheap as mines scratched, just need to find out how to fit it!!

had a look inside my door when i had it all resprayed a while back but no idea where to help u on the window question mate. looks like fun to me!

Indeedy! Leakage can occur when the rubber dries out over time. Lubricating allows the silicone to be absorbed by the rubber and hence it expands, and stops water getting in!
